Necklines should be strongly considerate ,as it change the overall look of the garments. Generally outfits are associate with diffferent names speacially, because of different necklines. Use of different necklines for different outfits, actually made a unique dress/outfit/garment.

There are so many different neckline for western wear and traditional/ethnic wear. Further we divide the necklines into two parts , front neck designs/ necklines and back neck designs/necklines.

Following i am discussing some necklines for different type of outfits.

1. Gown Front Neck Designs :-

Front necklines of wedding gown should be medium to deep length as per your choice. Trendy necklines in these days are v-neck, cowl-neck, halter-neck, decollete neckline, boat neck, off-shoulder and deep square necklines. you can adorn the  gown necklines by using laces, straps, buttons etc. Following pictures shows you the glimpse of some stylish gown necklines.

Off- shoulder neckline would appear as the shoulder of the outfit fell down towards the humerus part of the shoulder . you can make off shoulder of v-neck, round-neck, boat-neck and u-neck.Now days off-shoulder neckline is very populer among all outfits like tops, t-shirts, ethnic kurties, western dresses and frocks.

Strapless Neckline

Strapless neckline is the neckline without shoulder part or straps. This neckline is used for wedding gown, bikinies, bodycon dresses and gowns. Bodice bra cups type dresses will complement this type of neckline

Halter Neckline for Gown

Halter neckline is the type where only single neckline is used for front and back neck it means the same strap of front neckline runs to the back neckline . It is mostly used to design dresses, gowns, tunics, bodysuits etc.

High Neck Design For Dresses

High neckline can be round or crewel neckline covered the clavicle bone of the neckpart.it is also called funnel neckline. This type of neckline is used for winter purpose dresses and sweaters because it stand along the neck.

Halter Neckline Without Sleeves

Halter Neckline is single neckline used for both front and back neck. it can be used with with sleeves and without sleeves as well. Halter neckline with back zipper neck and without shoulder is best design for dayout. 

Scoop Neckline of Gown

Scoop neckline designed as broad round neck or U-neck with more width. This neck is used for tops, dresses, gowns and tshirts. This type is deeper than basic U and Round neck. This is perfect choice for those who want deep round neck tops.

Gown Back Necklines:-

 Trendy Back necklines of gowns  are deep bow v-neck, multiple deep criss-cross straps, hanging stone patches, Have a sight on these back neck designs.

Bow Shaped Back Neck

Bow neckline pattern basically used for back necklines of gowns, frocks, bra, blouses and bralette. This is acheived by making bow-shape element made up of different fabric and attach this element to the desired part. Or you can Design the blouse part as bow shape. As we can see this type in back of frocks Giving the illussion of tied straps. It can be used with V-neck, bra back neck and bralette back neck.

Crew Neckline For Kurties

Crewel neckline is the smaller version of round neck. it is flatterened in shape with same width as round neck with border arount it. you can see this type mostly is tshirts. Lenght of this neckline fit near the coller bone. Heavy breasted or fatty prople should not prefer this necklinebecause they would feel bound in the outfit.

Bib Neckline With Potli(Round) Buttons

This neckline is slighly same as the  yoke neckline except it comes by adding more length. .In this neckline seperate piece of fabric is used with some button on it ,act as a acatual neckline. it is join to the outfit part which can be of curved, or straight shape. The actual neckline can be of any type (u-neck, jewel-neck,round -neck).

Mandarin Coller Neckline

Mandarin neckline is the open collared neckline of smaller depth than regular collar having round notches. The open part of the neckline could be of any shape like triangular, notched, sweetheart or v -shape.  join this collar with keyhole neckline used for top and bodycon dresses for attractive look.

Closed neckline is another name of jewel neckline. It is designed as a type of boder for  the simple round neckline. This type is basically used with placket containing buttons.this design looks good on ethnic kurti or frock. It make its shape by surrounding the collar-bone part.

3. Blouse Necklines :-

There are varity of  Blouse Necklines that given you unique and attractive look, it led to change you overall style and apperance. Blouse back neckline should be always deep except coller neck. latest and unique front neckline of blouse are boat neck, scoop neck, v-neck, deep square neck, broad sweetheart shape neckline and offshoulder necklines. following are some blouse necklines with names.
