Girls enchance their beauty by wearing punjabi suit in different styles .
In this article i am sharing the TIPS for How to style punjabi suit by using following elements.
Duppata on Head:-
Punjabi girls wear dupatta on their head on occassional events like in laavan ceremony in wedding(with respect in gurudwara), Or married womens always try to wear dupatta on head. It shows respect towards elders and to keep their regalness up.
Its not compulsion for any punjabi girl .its their own choice.
Goggles :-
If you wear goggles with punjabi suit, it gives you mixture of modern and traditional look. punjabi suit salwar is tradional wear of punjab, and girls carry this outfit very nicely by wearing designer punjabi suits and adding some modern accessory to it, which gives us modern touch.
Tikka :-
Tikka is also called maang tikka, it is hanging ornament for out forhead part made up of different material like metal, thread, mirror, chains, fabric etc. punjabi girls wear tikka on wedding events like jaago(mostly), cultural functions, or any auspicious occassion. it give you unique and more observable look.
Chuda :-
Chuda is speacial kind of bangles, for married girl or bride only. other girls can wear bangles but not chuda. chuda isconsidered as the symbol of married women. it is unique set of bangles of red color with mixture of some white color bangles.
It gives the girl most stylish and notable look.
Waalian :-
Waalian is the punjabi version of earnings. but it is different from other earnings. Traditional waalian is round shaped golden earnings embellish with small golden leafs or pearls.Girls always wear mini size waalian from their teenage, as their wish.
Patiala Salwar :-
Patiala salwar is heavy salwar, (having more pleats than normal salwar), it give the fabric more stylish and more shaped look, it is same as normal salwar by adding more pleats. girls like patiala salwar more for full punjaban look. if you want to wear typical punjabi suit or want full punjabi attaire, you should prefer patiala salwar with kameez and chunni.
Palazzo Suit :-
Palazzo suit is the new trendy fashion become more popular from 2017 in punjab.palazzo is wide loose bottom(type of loose pajama) comes in two shapes,straight palazzo or flared palazzo. Girls wear palazzo bottom with normal suit(kameez) on regular/casual/functional events.
Embroidery On Punjabi Suits :-
Punjabi girls are very fond of beautify punjabi suits with different type of embroidery.From traditional embroidery like tilla ,zari, pearl work, sequin work to new embroidery like gota-patti, mirror style embroidery, thread embroidery or many hand work embroidery is carried out on punjabi suits to create a unique piece.

Instead of Purchasing the outfit, punjabi girls Purchase fabric and color of their choice, and get it ready by professional boutiques. They contrast the fabric by choosing opposite color combination for more notable looks. Mostly they tie their hairs by stylish braid or bun.commenly and easily operate braids are french braid, dutch braid, and in bun they prefer apple bun, or messy bun.in functions or wedding they open the hair ,mostly they are used to do braids.
HOW To Muffle dupatta :-
The unique way to muffle dupatta of punjabi girls make them different among others. mostly we can see them by just wrap up dupatta around neck. The very unique way is to round of dupatta across shoulder by putting it on head, as you can see in picture. They look so beautyful and well dressed as it cover their body.
Prefer White/Black Suits :-
White and black are the colors, which never get old-fashion.So there are different ways to style white suits. white colors is easily perceived, so you can wear any hot or cool color in constrast with it. as in picture girl wear golder color metal bangles and matching lace stiched all over the suit to carry beautyful look.
Colorful Dupatta :-
If you want eye catching look, there is nothing better option than colorful dupatta.you can wear colorful dupatta with plain suit and printed suit as well.
Use the least used color in dupatta to match with the color of suit. To hang dupatta over shoulder is best way to show-off you dupatta
All-over self printed suits:-
Either full plain or full printed is very commonly used idea of punjabi suits. all printed suits with tiny flowers, or tiny geomatric shape pattern , self printed fabric or chikenkari fabric are very prominent in fashion of punjabi suits.
Mirror and Lace Work :-
Mirror work was very famous in earlier punjabi culture, and now it turn back again to punjabi suit fashion by adding some more features.mirror work is carry on plain fabric of any type,use the dark colors, by ignoring white color in mirror work. You can use mirror in any direction from top to bottom or diagonal in between.
I prefer all over spread mirror for punjabi suit.
Full Sleeves :-
Always try alternative to commonly used fashion. Punjabi girls focus on keep themselves cover, they use 3/4 or full sleeve more instead of half sleeve. As it give them more comfort , style and shealth in the same time. As in picture girls add buttons to full sleeves to attain a distinctive look.
Black Suit :-
Black color is not get old or fade same as white color. Embroidery or print on black color give more striking effect than any other color.you can wear full plain black suit with colourful dupatta, or contrast black suit with different color of salwar/chunni. Or you can wear full black suit by adding some hot colorful accessory like bangles,earings punjabi jutti, or neck pieces. Black color suits best on white complexion.
Light and Dark Shade Of Same Color :-
For decent looks, use light and dark shade of same color. Eg light pink dark pink, light green dark green. You can go for light for shirt and dark for salwar or vice versa. Add the opposite color of lace to chunni. Or you can also add white or black lace to chunni. When you neither want two different colors, nor single color. Then this trendy color combination is best suit for you.
Tiny Flowers Floral Print :-
Floral print fabric is most consumed fabric. On punjabi suit other than plains, flowers exist on evey piece either in small or big size. But if you want casual or regular based pieces, tiny flowers Floral fashion left even embroidery behind. You can take tiny flower fabric of any color, and carry it with matching dupatta/chunni . I will go with least used color in fabric or more attractive color . It will give you more decent, stylish or casual look.
Phulkari Dupatta :-
Phulkari is traditional punjabi fully embroidered dupatta made up of thread of several colors.Traditional phulkari was crafted as four pointed stars, or eight pointed stars pattern.But Now days phulkari comes in varity of geomatric patterns and colors.
The main feature of phulkari is that you can drape it by both sides, it means it has no opposite side.it is prepared as embroidery comes on both side with same cleaness.
You can wear phulkari with any punjabi suit, no matter its color, contrast or matching.
Velvet Dupatta :-
If you are going to attend some auspicious occassion, but don't have any specific outfit for that, then go for velvet dupatta with any matching suit,carry some stylish accessory and good makeup with that. it will give you royal look and heavy outfit feeling.
Tulip/Dhoti Salwar :-
if you want some alternative of normal salwar, pick up tulip salwar to attain distinctive look.tulip salwar is narrow at feet and loose at thigh. different between normal and tulip salwar is that ,there is no pleats in tulip salwar. the shape of salwar is petals of tulip flower.
you can wear this salwar with any lenght of kameez,but i will choose above knee lenght for kameez.
Pajami Suit:-
The kameez with narrow tight pajami is known as pajami suit. you can wear chudidaar pajami or legging with any lenght of kameez.kameez fitting matter very much in case of punjabi suits. you can wear pajami with loose kameez ,but punjabi girls wear it with full fitting suit(with darts) to acheive more interesting look.
Gota Chunni :-
Gota falls under the category of lace, but it is traditional punjabi accessory, used to embellish punjabi suits or chunni/dupatta. it is mostly golden/silver gleamy thin stripes made up of metal coated yarn, by which your look turn out more striking. once you apply gota to kameez or chunni, there is no need of any other ornament. Mainly we prefer gota to adorn the dupattas.
Sharara Suit :-
shlara is type of bottom wear,tight from thigh and flared from feets,form by using gathers.Shlaara has a main upper section( tight straight section), and one /two lower gathered section as per your choice.shlara compliment with above knee/knee lenght kameez.
